Terms of Service

Welcome to Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS) by accessing and using our cybersecurity mentorship training program (“Services”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms of Service (“TOS”) carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue using the Services immediately. 


1. Scope 

These TOS apply to all users of our Services, including participants, mentors, and visitors. The Services include access to mentorship, training materials, resources, and communication tools, all intended for the purpose of professional development in cybersecurity. The terms herein apply regardless of how you access the Services, whether through our website, mobile applications, or other means. These TOS do not cover the specific terms of third-party platforms or tools integrated into our Services. 


2. Eligibility 

To register for and participate in the mentorship program, you must be at least 18 years old. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements. You must also provide accurate and complete information during registration, and promptly update your account information when necessary. 


3. Account Registration 

You are required to create an account to access certain features of the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities that occur under your account. It is your responsibility to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS)  is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account. 


4. Program Responsibilities 

Participant Responsibilities: 

As a participant in the mentorship program, you agree to: 

  • Actively engage in all training sessions, courses, and mentorship activities. 
  • Complete any assignments or tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Adhere to ethical cybersecurity practices in your learning and application of knowledge. 
  • Treat mentors, peers, and staff with respect, maintaining a professional and supportive environment. 
  • Avoid any disruptive, harmful, or offensive behavior. 

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension or termination of your access to the Services. 


Mentor Responsibilities: 

Mentors are responsible for: 

  • Providing educational guidance, support, and feedback in accordance with the program structure. 
  • Engaging professionally with all participants. 
  • Maintaining confidentiality concerning participant progress and data. 

Mentors act as guides and facilitators, but are not responsible for the participants’ job placements, certifications, or guarantees of specific outcomes. 


5. Code of Conduct 

All users of the Services are expected to behave in a respectful, ethical, and professional manner. Discrimination, harassment, offensive language, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Violations of the code of conduct may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice. 


6. Payment, Subscription, Lifetime, Cancellation, and Refund Policy 

Certain features of our Services, including access to mentorship sessions and educational content, require payment. By purchasing a subscription or enrolling in paid Services, you agree to the following payment, subscription, and refund terms: 


If your payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your access to paid portions of the Services. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable. 


Payment Terms 

All payments must be made upfront according to the pricing structure provided at the time of registration. Payments may be made via credit card, debit card, or other approved payment methods through our payment processing system. By providing payment information, you authorize Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS) to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees, including any recurring subscription charges. 


Subscription Terms 

Our Services may include subscription options that renew automatically unless canceled by you. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges. If you do not cancel on time, no refunds will be issued for the charges incurred. 


Lifetime Plan Payment Terms 

If you enroll in our Lifetime Plan, you are required to make timely payments as agreed upon in the payment schedule. The following conditions apply for late or missed payments: 

  • Grace Period: Students are provided with a one-day grace period for late payments. During this period, no penalties will be incurred, and payment can still be submitted without additional charges. 
  • Late Fee: If the payment is not received or is still processing by the second day after the due date, a $100 late fee will be applied to your account. This late fee is non-negotiable and will be added to the outstanding balance on your account. 
  • Account Suspension: If your account remains past due for 7 days, your access to the Services will be suspended. Your account will remain suspended until the outstanding balance has been paid and processed, or a payment arrangement has been made with us. During this suspension, you will not have access to mentorship sessions, course materials, or any other program benefits. 

If your account is suspended and no payment arrangements are made within 60 days, your account may be referred to a collection’s agency, and any additional fees incurred during this process will be your responsibility. 


Refund Policy 

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We offer refunds only under exceptional circumstances and at our sole discretion. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any decision regarding refunds will be final. 


Failed Payments 

If a payment is declined, we will notify you, and it is your responsibility to ensure the payment is successfully processed. If your payment method fails and remains unresolved, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services.  


Collections Process 

If your account is sent to a collection’s agency due to non-payment, we reserve the right to provide the necessary information to the collections agency to recover the debt. This may include your name, contact information, outstanding balance, and payment history. You will also be responsible for any additional costs incurred during the collections process, including legal fees, late fees, and interest. 


Cancellations 

Cancellations can be made through the self-service billing portal located here. You will need your email address and Order Id. Your Order ID is located within your latest invoice. If you have issues locating your Order ID please reach out to help@susos.co.  


Once you are logged into the portal, select show details to view the entire payment history for all payments.  


Click the X icon next to the next scheduled payment. A pop-up window will prompt you to confirm your cancellation. Click “Yes, cancel it” and a request will be sent to our billing team to process the cancelation as soon as possible. 


Please note that a cancellation cannot be reversed. All progress will be lost. 


7. Intellectual Property Rights 

All content provided through the mentorship program, including but not limited to text, graphics, videos, documents, and quizzes, is the intellectual property of Show up Show Out Security (SUSOS) or its licensors. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of the content is strictly prohibited. 


8. Third-Party Tools and Services 

Our Services may include third-party tools, platforms, and services for communication, payment processing, or analytics. By using these tools, you agree to comply with their terms and conditions. Show up Show Out Security (SUSOS) is not responsible for any issues, data breaches, or damages that may arise from using third-party services. We recommend that you review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party platforms you interact with through our Services. 


9. SMS Communications  

By enrolling in our program, you consent to receiving communications from Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS). You’ll receive important updates, resources, and exclusive content straight to your inbox and via SMS. Our goal is to provide you with valuable information that will help you thrive and succeed.  


The following terms apply: 

  • Reminders and Updates: You will receive weekly reminders to book your technical coaching sessions with your mentor and notifications regarding course content updates or other important program information. 
  • Canceling SMS: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to our short code. Once you send the "STOP" message, we will send you an SMS confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to resume the service, you can re-enroll as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you. 
  • Help: If you experience issues with the messaging program, you can reply with "HELP" for assistance or contact us directly at help@susos.co. 
  • Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. 
  • Message Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply for any SMS messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive SMS messages weekly. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider. 
  • Privacy: For more details on how we handle your personal data, please review our Privacy Policy. 


10. User Responsibilities 

You are responsible for: 

  • Keeping your account secure by using a strong, unique password and not sharing it with others. 
  • Ensuring the accuracy of any information you provide during registration or account updates. 
  • Using the knowledge and tools acquired through the mentorship program responsibly and in accordance with ethical standards of cybersecurity. 


11. Suspension and Termination Policy 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, particularly if you violate these TOS, engage in unethical or illegal behavior, or fail to meet the program requirements. 


Grounds for Suspension: 

  • Violation of the code of conduct or inappropriate behavior toward mentors, staff, or other participants. 
  • Failure to comply with payment obligations. 
  • Suspected involvement in illegal or unethical activities related to cybersecurity. 
  • Any action that disrupts the learning environment or impairs the program for others. 

Suspension Process: 

  • In the event of a minor violation, we may issue a warning before suspension. 
  • In cases of serious or repeated violations, your account may be suspended immediately without prior notice. 
  • While suspended, you will not have access to any program resources or mentorship services. 

Termination of Service: 

  • In cases of significant or continued violations, we reserve the right to permanently terminate your account. 
  • Upon termination, you will no longer have access to any portion of the Services, and no refunds will be provided for any fees paid. 


You can also choose to terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease, and all associated data will be removed in accordance with our data retention policies. 


12. Warranty and Disclaimer  

The Services provided by Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS) are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, either express or implied. Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS) makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the content, mentorship, or materials provided.  


13. Limitation of Liability 

Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS) provides the mentorship program and associated resources on an “as is” basis. While we strive to provide high-quality content and mentorship, we make no guarantees of specific outcomes, such as employment or certification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS) shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may result from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or unauthorized access to your account. 


14. Indemnification  

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Show Up Show Out Security (SUSOS), its affiliates, mentors, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) that may arise out of your use of the Services or your violation of these TOS. 


15. Changes to Terms 

We reserve the right to modify these TOS at any time. If changes are made, we will notify you by posting the revised terms on our website, with an updated “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the new terms. 


16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution 

These TOS are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Miami, FL. Any disputes arising from these terms, or your use of the Services will be resolved through arbitration, mediation, or in the courts of Miami, FL.
